This is where the Langebaan live cam runs: the camera’s live picture, streamed through the SkylineWebcams platform.

Loading it fetches content from skylinewebcams.com. Your IP address goes there and to the jsDelivr CDN (cdn.jsdelivr.net), which serves their player. SkylineWebcams sets a technical session cookie (PHPSESSID) with it, which common browsers block or isolate inside an embedded frame; there is no advertising and no Google in this player. The video starts straight away and uses around 5–6 MB per minute. None of that happens until you tap.

About the cams

Sunset Beach is one of the best wind-sport spots in the world: kitesurfing, windsurfing and wingfoiling with Table Mountain in view, five minutes from Rietvlei, home of the Milnerton Aquatic Club (MAC). The lagoon is sailed and windsurfed; kitesurfing is not permitted there. The wind measurement from the MAC grounds is on the Rietvlei page.

Big Bay is live; the camera is run by the Cape Town Kite Club. Muizenberg shows the surf bay in False Bay, camera by Reef South Africa. Langebaan shows the lagoon, camera at the Flamingo Wing Foil Center. Rietvlei shows the lagoon, camera by the Milnerton Aquatic Club. Ocean 9’s camera at Sunset Beach has no video at the moment, but sends a fresh photo every minute. It pans between several views: the open sea, the beach, and across the bay towards the city.
